     Today the Cane Corso is quickly establishing itself as one of the world's most versatile canines. When compared to other mastiff breeds, the Corso's strength, agility and speed places them in a league of their own. The Cane Corso is a highly intelligent dog that thrives on close personal interaction. It is truly a loyal breed that will go above and beyond to please their family, but early socialization is still a must in order to prevent any dominant behavior. This breed requires a lot of exercise and loves to be challenged. The Cane Corso can be found excelling in schutzhund, weight-pulling, obedience trials, flyball competitions, police work, and many other varied fields. All of the attributes mentioned of the Cane Corso justifies this superb breed as one of the top working breeds in the canine world. This is just a brief depiction of the Cane Corso.
